‘Private institutions can revolutionise education’
Islamabad : Pakistan Chamber of Education President Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warraich and Secretary General Ali Raza Sheikh have said that only an educated and civilized society can meet the challenges of the 21st century.
They were addressing a luncheon hosted by Central Senior Vice President Muhammad Asif in honour of the officials of the Pakistan Chamber of Education Rawalpindi Division and Pakistan Chamber of Education Islamabad.
They said that despite sharing 60 per cent burden of government in education sector, the private sector has been treated in step motherly manner.
They also regretted that despite giving 20 per cent waiver in fees, the government did not provide any relief to the private educational institutions.
They said that lack of effective representation across Punjab has taken a heavy toll on them.
Hafiz Basharat, President Islamabad, Muhammad Tayyab Chaudhry, Member Advisory Council, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, Divisional President, Naseer Ahmed District President, Rawalpindi, Niaz Ahmed, Finance Secretary District Rawalpindi, Naseer Ahmed Abbasi, President Tehsil Murree, Waheed Abbasi Murree Jhelum District, Ali Mukhtar, District Senior Vice President Chakwal, Muhammad Iqbal General Secretary, Attock District, Zaman Babar, Senior Vice President, Islamabad, Nasir Mahmood Islamabad also expressed solidarity with Pakistan Chamber of Education.
Mian Hamid Saeed from Bahawalpur, Yaseen Ramey, from Rahimyar Khan, Ahmed Saeed Al Hassan from Narowal, Ghulam Farid Zaigham, Sialkot, Sabir Hussain Butt, Wazirabad, and Azhar Mahmood from Sargodha while Muhammad Islam Mughal represented Kamunki on the occasion.
