Zone VI, Zone VII win in KMC-KCCA tournament

KARACHI: Zone-VII beat Zone-I by 125 runs at RLCA Gulberg ground in the KMC-KCCA Inter Zonal Under-17 Tournament Division-I on Monday.

Zone-VII scored 311 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs. Ammad Arifuddin hit 139 with the help of fourteen fours and two sixes. Anas Jawaid scored 49 and Shahid Nisar 42. M Sheroz and Aun Abbas took two wickets each.

Zone-I were all out for 186 in 33.4 overs. Hyder Ali scored 63 with the help of ten fours and one six. Taha Mehmood scored 51. Adil Ejaz took five wickets for 25.  Ikramul Haq grabbed three wickets. Ammad was declared man of the match.

In another match, Zone-VI beat Zone-IV by 124 runs at TMC Ground.

Zone-VI scored 295 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Ali Khurram scored 108 runs, Najibullah 54, and Kamran Khan 44.

Ali and Najibullah added 102 runs for the third wicket. M Faisal took three wickets. Jahanzaib Sultan and Rashid Khalil picked up two wickets each.

Zone-IV were all out for 171 in 44.2 overs. Jahanzaib Sultan scored 43, M Faisal 35 and Osama Malik 28. M Afzal took four wickets for 32. M Tariq grabbed three for 27 runs and Shoaib Roz took two wickets. Ali was declared man of the match.
