FAISALABAD: Provision of better services and implementation of transparency is the priority of the Fesco Board of Directors (BoDs), said the Fesco BoDs chairman.
Addressing the board meeting at the Fesco Headquarters here, he said that there would be no compromise on quality and maximum facilities would be provided to the consumers as well as employees of the company. The board approved an agreement between the Fesco and the Power Information Technology Company (PITC) for provision of value-added facilities to further improve the performance of company.
Under the agreement, facility of online MIS, website management, mobile meter reading and other customers’ service would be provided. The board also approved the additional budget of Rs 174 million for the fiscal year 2015, besides granted permission to the applicants of new connections to purchase of 25kva distribution transformers by themselves for issuance of connections immediately.
The meeting approved the supply of fuel through the PSO cards for vehicles of the Fesco Headquarters only, initially for one year. It sanctioned the posts of different supporting staff in the Project Management Unit in view of acute shortage of staff.
