A two-member delegation from European University of Lefke, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, headed by its rector Professor Dr Mehmet Ali Yükselen, is visiting Pakistan to meet university teachers and Higher Education Commission (HEC) officials.
They are keen to associate with Pakistani institutions to attract genuine students offering them higher study opportunities in their university.
The European University of Lefke is a modern academic institution located in the Island of Northern Cyprus overlooking the blue waters of Mediterranean with its excellent infrastructure, technological equipment and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. It is known to be a leading hub of education in the west of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
It offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in various disciplines, including Engineering, Arts and Science, Health Sciences, Architecture, Economics, Tourism and Agriculture. It is a non-profit university and offers a range of scholarship opportunities, especially to international students from Pakistan, up to 40% of the tuition fees.
