Dir woman’s death in Mina tragedy confirmed

DIR: The death of Zaheera Bibi, who had gone missing after the Mina incident during Haj, was confirmed dead by her family on Monday.
The family said that Zaheera Bibi, a resident of Wari, Upper Dir, had gone missing soon after the stampede at Mina.
The family said her son Altaf Ahmad, who accompanied her during Haj, told by phone that Zaheera Bibi had died in the incident.
She was laid to rest in the Jannat-ul-Baqi graveyard in Saudi Arabia.
Another woman relative of the Zaheera Bibi also had gone missing after the incident, however, she was found after two days.
Seven persons, including Zaheera Bibi, her son Altaf Ahmad, three men and two women had gone to Saudi Arab for performing Haj.
