Installation of disinfection booths in LDA office ordered

LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahmad Aziz Tarar has directed the officers concerned for setting up four disinfection booths in the LDA office at Johar Town as precautionary measures against the prevailing coronavirus pandemic.

One such booth had so far been established at the entrance of block I of the LDA office while installation of the remaining three booths was in progress. The LDA DG along with Chief Engineer Habib Ul Haq Randhawa inspected the booth. Wash basins fitted with automatic water taps had already been installed at four entry gates of the LDA office besides the dispensers of sanitizer.

Meanwhile, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) under the supervision of it's Managing Director Sayed Zahid Aziz has also established one disinfection booth at its office at Gulbarg. It has also provided water tankers at 20 important locations in the City for hand washing facility to thousands of citizens daily.
