JUI-F chief asks party activists to help the poor
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JIU-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Sunday asked the party district organisation to give ration packages to the poor and deserving people at their doorsteps during the ongoing lockdown in Dera Ismail Khan. Talking to a delegation comprising of JUI-F Dera Ismail Khan senior deputy head Maulana Ubaidur Rahman, general secretary Chaudhary Ashfaq advocate, Hafiz Abdul Majeed Gogakhel, Rana Muhammad Ramzan Salar and Haji Abdullah, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that that lockdown caused by the fatal coronavirus had badly affected the poor and labour class in the country. He said that ration packages and other essential should be provided to the poor at their doorstep so that their self-respect could not be hurt at anyway. The JUI chief said that providing any relief to the poor in the prevailing coronavirus pandemic should not done for any worldly gains but be carried out only for the sake of Allah and welfare of humanity. He said that relief package should be given to all the needy people irrespective of their political and religious affiliation and a report of the party performance be submitted to him after every 10 days.
