Let's read
It sounds very pleasant that in the US, public libraries and a national non-profit effort called the National Emergency Library has made over a million books available to those wanting to read while at home during the lockdown. Book reading improves reasoning, helps in opinion-making and develops critical thinking.
It is very unfortunate that in our society, people find it so hard to read even a single book apart from their academic courses. This lack of interest in reading yielded a generation of blind followers with no judgmental capabilities and over brimmed with intolerance and impatience. This lockdown period of self isolation is an excellent opportunity to revive the dying art of reading, as the readers of today are the leaders of tomorrow.
