Partly cloudy forecast

LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather with dry conditions was observed in the city here Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Rainfall was recorded at Balakot 39, Kalam 27, Malam Jabba 23, Kakul 20, Merkhani, Chirat 13, Patan 12, Saidu Sharif 11, Dir (Upper 09, Lower 07), Chitral 05, Peshawar 01, Muzaffarabad (AP 21, City 09), Garhi Dupatta 21, Islamabad (Golra 13, ZP 11, Bokra 09, Saidpur 08, AP 03), Murree 09, Attock 03, Rawalpindi (Chaklala, Shamsabad 02) and Multan 01.

Minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam where mercury dropped to -02°C while in Lahore, it was 15.6°C and maximum was 29.3°C.
