325 shops forced closed in Islamabad

Islamabad:The district administration of Islamabad on Wednesday forced closure of 325 shops in various areas of the city for violation of SOPs defined to dealing with customers.
According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat some strict measures were being taken across the federal capital to ensure implementation of SOPs to succeed efforts to prevent spread of COVID-19. He said the shops were closed for not using sanitisers, face masks, gathered more than seven customers at a time and selling other items in cover of grocery and food items and medicines. The deputy commissioner said the shopkeepers would be allowed to open shops once they submit an affidavit with the concerned police station.
