‘Education can help control population’

Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Begum Zakia Shahnawaz has said the awareness campaign launched by the population welfare department for controlling overpopulation is continuing at provincial level.
She said this while addressing a meeting of parliamentarians at a local hotel on Tuesday. Secretary Population Welfare Altaf Aizad Khan also attended the meeting.
Stressing the importance of education, Zakia Shahnawaz said the education is a continuous process through which we can control increasing population and resolve its problems. —Correspondent
