A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was executed on Wednesday in OGDCL Head Office between M/s Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Pakistan and M/s JSC Rosgeologia of Russian Federation, says a press release.
The parties have entered into the MoU for exploration and production on the broader terms within their blocks for mutual benefit and overall reciprocity in accordance with the relevant laws, rules and regulations. The cooperation under the MoU may include, but is not limited to the i) review of farm-in and farm-out opportunities in existing exploration licenses of the Parties; ii) review of opportunities in development and production fields including opportunities related to the application of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques; iii) exploring opportunities for mutual activities in acquisition, processing and interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data; and iv) to formulate strategies for sharing the expertise and/or training the personnel of both the companies.
