Toddler hit to death
FAISALABAD: A toddler was hit to death by a van in the precincts of Chak Jhumra police station. Three-year-old Haseeb, son of Hamid, was playing in a street outside his house at Maqsoodabad when a van hit him. Haseeb received serious injuries and was shifted to a hospital where he died. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
12 outlaws held: Khurarianwala police on Sunday claimed to have arrested 12 dacoits during the month of January. The police under the supervision of DSP Anwar Saeed launched a campaign against criminals and arrested 12 dacoits. These dacoits belong to two gangs, who were involved in dacoities in Faisalabad and other districts, including Nankana Sahib and Sheikhupura. The outlaws were identified as Arslan, Naalain, Saad Ali and Waqas of Chak 214/RB, Asif, Faheem, Zubair, Abdul Basit, Muhammad Ali, Amanullah, Nasir alias Gogi and Binyameen of Chak 211/RB.
