UK’s travel advisory lauded
LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has termed the Britain’s travel advisory a great initiative and urged the Foreign Ministry and foreign missions abroad to highlight this with the zeal to motivate others follow the suite, a statement said on Tuesday.
LCCI President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh and Senior Vice President Ali Hussam Asghar said that British Travel Advisory has proved that Pakistan is a land of peace and one of the safest places for travel, investment and business for the foreigners. It would boost the confidence of foreign investors and tourists, they said and appreciated the British government and British High Commission for taking favourable initiatives for Pakistan.
They also appreciated the government and security agencies for proactively tackling the law and order challenges, and paid tributes to their sacrifices for making the country a wonderful and safe place.
