Rawalpindi: Senator Sirajul Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) ameer will lead a protest demonstration against price hike and many other problems being faced by the people, to held here tomorrow (Wednesday).
Addressing a press conference here, the JI North Punjab ameer, Dr. Tariq Saleem appealed to the masses particularly the residents of twin cities and surroundings to participate in the protest demonstration.
He said the JI leadership took decision to hold demonstration in view of increasing prices and crisis of flour, sugar and essential commodities and continuous raise in tariffs of gas and electricity. JI Rawalpindi ameer, Syed Arif Shirazi and other leaders including Raja Jawad and Ziaullah Chohan were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the National Labour Federation (NLF) has announced to support call for protest demonstration on Wednesday.
