GM Syed’s birth anniversary celebrated

SUKKUR: The 116th birth anniversary of Ghulam Murtaza Syed, known as GM Syed, who was the founder leader of Jeay Sindh Tahreek, was organised by the Sindh United Party (SUP) in the native city of Sunn.
Former deputy speaker Sindh Assembly, Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah and grandson of GM Syed cut the cake along with former Justice Wajihuddin Ahmed, Dr Haye Baloch and others and paid rich tributes to Syed for his services.
The birth anniversary was also celebrated under the World Sindhi Congress in various parts of the world, including the USA, UK and Canada to remember the founding father of modern Sindhi nationalism.
