More Nadra offices to be set up

More National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) offices were decided to be established in the city, to facilitate the public in obtaining identity cards easily.
The decision was taken at a meeting held with city commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Nadra chairman Usman Mobin and other concerned officials.
The city commissioner promised assistance in acquiring land for the centres; the authority was stated to identify places for the new centres.
Directives to speed up the process of registering foreign immigrants as well as issuance of birth and death certificates were also given.
