PARACHINAR: The police arrested an arms smuggler and seized heavy weapons which were being smuggled into the country from across the border of Afghanistan, police officials said on Wednesday. Speaking to media at the Parachinar Police Station, Deputy Superintendent of Police Najjaf Ali and Station House Officer Mahmood Alam said that acting on a tip-off, the police barricaded the hilly route of Pak-Afghan at Dalasa where the accused identified as Gulfar Khan and his son, Fazal Jan, were smuggling arms and ammunition over donkeys. smuggling They said that the accused was arrested and weapons including rocket shell, Kalashnikov, 12 repeaters, four double-barrel guns, three hand-grenades, 30 magazines and 2000 cartridges were seized.
