LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Tuesday if former prime minister Nawaz Sharif did not send his latest and complete medical reports within 48 hours, the government would decide its future line of action in that regard. Addressing a press conference here, she said despite the passage of six weeks, given to Nawaz Sharif to get medical treatment from abroad, the government did not receive his latest and complete medical reports yet. She said the Sharif family however sent incomplete reports to the Punjab government from London. She mentioned the former prime minister was given six weeks to get his medical treatment from abroad but it seemed he was not going under any medical treatment in London.

The provincial minister said she also telephoned Dr Adnan, personal physician of Nawaz, to seek latest medical reports. “I asked Dr Adnan to share latest medical reports of Nawaz Sharif with Punjab government,” she said.

To a question, she said Nawaz along with his family members was dining at a London restaurant in his recent pictures, which gone viral on social media, which wondered everyone that how come it was possible for a person suffering from various fatal diseases. Nawaz Sharif was a prisoner, who was granted bail by the court on humanitarian grounds and his bail period had already expired on December 25, 2019, she maintained.

To another question, Dr Yasmin said Maryam Nawaz was also attempting to “flee” to London on the pretext of looking after his ailing father, who in his recent pictures seemed healthy and physically fit.
