Two abducted persons recovered

SUKKUR: The Shikarpur Police on Monday recovered two kidnapped victims after a firing exchange. The SSP Shikarpur told the media that a firing exchange took place between a gang of dacoits and police as the latter reached near the hideout where the hostages were being held. He said the alleged kidnappers were trying to shift the kidnapped persons identified as Bilal Soomro and Ajab Dasti at that time, who were safely recovered following the firing exchange. The SSP said two criminals Arsalan Jatoi and Anwar Jatoi were arrested and the police recovered a motorcycle, TT pistols and bullets from their possession. He said Bilal Soomro was kidnapped on September 6, while Ajab Dasti was kidnapped in August. The police official said that the operation against criminals in Gharhi Taigho was still going on.
