Robbers among 26 arrested by Rangers

The Sindh Rangers rounded up 26 suspects, including alleged robbers, during different raid carried out in the megalopolis on Sunday.

According to a paramilitary spokesman, the Rangers conducted raids in Malir, Gulshan, Rizvia, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, SITE-A, Eidgah, Baghdadi, Sharea Faisal, Ferozeabad, Mehmoodabad, Bahadurabad, Super Market and Liaquatabad areas.

During these raids they arrested 20 suspects, he said, identifying them as Abdul Ghafoor, Muhammad Nasir, Ameer Baloch, Ameer Ahmed, Shahid, Ali, Muhammad Shariq, Umair Ali, Kashif, Muhammad Younus, Altafur Rehman, Muhammad Bilal, Farman Ali, Muhammad Adnan, Ali Raza, Sikander Hayat, Muhammad Wajihuddin, Irtazaa Hussain, Muhammad Mashid, Mukaram Hussain and Maula Bux.

The arrested suspects were involved in a number of robberies, incidents of motorcycle theft and street crimes, he added. The spokesman said more raids were carried out in Rizvia and Murad Memon Goth areas from where the Rangers apprehended two suspects identified as Asif and Muslim who were involved in different crimes.

In separate raids in Preedy and Kalri areas, he said, the paramilitary force arrested four suspects identified as Ikraam, Behraam Shah, Sajjad Zaheer and Muhammad Shah. The arrested suspects were drug dealers, he added.
