Police arrest 29 more lawyers over PIC attack
LAHORE: The Investigation Wing of the Lahore Police arrested 29 more lawyers involved in the PIC attack and shifted them to different police stations on Friday.
Overall, 83 lawyers have been arrested out of which 46 were presented before an anti-terrorism court and sent on judicial remand on Thursday. The police also raided the house of Barrister Hassan Niazi, nephew of Prime Minister Imran Khan, but failed to arrest him. The DIG Investigations said the police have been trying to arrest Niazi by using latest technology. The CCTV footages show that Niazi was involved in the attack on the PIC.
