Hazardous gutka burnt

LAHORE:The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) burnt 373,951 hazardous gutka packets worth more than three million rupees here on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, PFA Director General Irfan Memon monitored the gutka burning process. He said PFA was seized 0.37358 million gutka sachets in raids carried out by the PFA across the province. He said the authority was confiscated 145,309 packets from Rawalpindi division, 82,720 packets from Faisalabad, 53,610 from Sahiwal, 45,740 from DG Khan, 15,673 from Sheikhupura, 14,900 from Okara, 10,954 from Lahore, 3,914 from Sialkot and 1,031 packets from Pakpattan.
