LAHORE:Lahore Development Authority newly-posted Director General Sumair Ahmed Syed assumed the charge of his office on Wednesday.
Talking to reporters at LDA office at Johar Town, Sumair Ahmad Syed said an all-out effort would be made for improving service delivery and solving the problems of the people in minimum possible time. Indiscriminate action will be taken against the land grabbers and merit will be upheld at all costs, he added.
The DG called on LDA Vice-Chairman SM Imran and discussed with him various issues for improving the overall working of the organisation. The LDA vice-chairman expressed the hope that the DG would work hard for making LDA a more vibrant public service delivery organisation in accordance the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier, the DG met with additional directors general Farqaleet Meer, Knwar Ejaz Khalik Razzaqi, Usman Ghani and Rana Tikka Khan and other LDA officers. The officers briefed him about the scope of work of their respective wings.s
