Buzdar promises durable progress

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday the elements hatching conspiracies to create instability in the province would not succeed in their nefarious designs.

In a statement issued here, he said that the incumbent government had worked devotedly to put the country on path to progress. The country is heading towards durable progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added.

The CM said that, unfortunately, certain elements did not want development in the country, adding that people had given five-year mandate to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and it would complete its tenure.

Usman Buzdar said that all the national institutions were on one page for development of the country and those who wanted clash between the institutions would just face failure. He said that in the past, corruption ruined different departments, adding that the menace would be rooted out under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan.

Computer literacy: Usman Buzdar has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is determined to make every citizen of the province computer literate.

In his message on the eve of World Computer Literacy Day, Usman Buzdar said that information technology was inevitable need of the hour. It is not possible to step into modern age without attaining computer literacy, he added.

He said that without increasing computer literacy rate youth cannot fulfill their dreams. Current century after passing through evolutionary stage of information technology have entered into artificial intelligence period.

It is the determination of the PTI government to make every citizen computer literate, he maintained. The chief minister said that the PTI government by digitalising land record authority was getting the public rid of patwar culture and would stretch the scope of e-libraries across the province gradually. Youth can earn lakhs of dollars after getting proficiency in information technology by simply sitting in their homes, he added.
