KARACHI: The 56th meeting of PCB Governing Board will be held in Lahore at PCB headquarters on Friday, chaired by chairman Ehsan Mani.
The meeting will discuss the model constitution for associations, approval of the constitution of the Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association and some other matters, ‘The News’ learnt on Tuesday.
Sources said that PCB chairman Ehsan Mani would brief the members about PCB high-ups’ meeting with heads of different departments and the outcome of those meetings. The PCB has asked the departments to bear part of the expenditure of domestic cricket and to own the teams representing regions.
The sources said that PCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wasim Khan would participate in the meeting through skype from Australia.
The sources said that the agenda circulated to members did not include anything about the future of departmental teams, but it would be discussed at length.
The creation and demarcation of city cricket associations are likely to be finalised in the meeting, the sources said.
Mani and Waseem will also brief the members of GB about the performance of PCB since they assumed charge.
The preparation for of Sri Lanka Test series in Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket team’s confirmation of touring Pakistan in January would also be discussed in the meeting.
