Farmers protest against Fesco

TOBA TEK SINGH: Farmers of Chak 325/JB on Monday staged a demonstration against the Fesco for not replacing their locality’s burnt transformer. They chanted slogans against the Fesco authorities and blocked traffic on Toba-Jhang Road. They told that their transformer was burnt and the Fesco officials were repeatedly contacted but the power supply had not been restored even after passing of 24 hours. Later, police officials held talks with the protesters and assured them that their problem would be resolved soon.
