Health minister visits hospital

LAHORE:Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid paid a surprise visit to Kharian Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

She reviewed medical facilities being provided to the patients in the hospital. She visited different wards of the hospital and inquired after the patients admitted there. The hospital medical superintendent briefed the minister about the medical facilities at the hospital.

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said the hospitals of eight mega cities of the province had been upgraded. She said that cleanliness condition and availability of medicines in the government hospitals were being monitored properly. The vacancies of doctors in DHQs and THQs hospitals are being filled. “We are trying to make government hospitals exemplary,” she added.
