Punjab Women Development Minister Hameeda Waheed ud Din has said Pakistani students are very talented and the government is encouraging them.
She was addressing a prize distribution ceremony for outstanding matriculation students at Crescent Model Girls High School, Shadman on Monday. Secretary Crescent Education Trust Mian Altaf Saleem, Principal Nasreen Altaf, members of the steering committee, teachers, parents and students attended the ceremony. Hameeda Waheed ud Din said that there was a need to promote education and enroll every child in schools to join the rank of developed nations.
She said the Punjab government took measures for the promotion of education. She said the government arranged study tour for position-holder students to prestigious educational institutions abroad every year.
The minister lauded the outstanding performance of the students in the matriculation examination.
