DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Election Commission of Pakistan has appointed returning officers (ROs) and assistant returning officers (AROs) for the upcoming local bodies’ elections to be held in 98 union councils, one municipal corporation and two municipal committees.
As per notification issued by the ECP on Tuesday, for union councils No 1 to 6 municipal corporation DG Khan, Public Health Department SE Sajjad Hussain has been appointed as the returning officer (RO) while DDO Roads Abdul Razzaq and Water Management Officer Hafiz Usman have been appointed as assistant returning officers (AROs). For union councils No 7 to 12, Director Colleges Prof Altaf Hussain would serve as returning officer while Deputy Director Colleges Prof Mazhar Hussain and DO Finance and Planning Sohail Rauf would perform duty as the assistant returning officers. For union councils No 13 to 17, Ghazi University Registrar Prof Najeeb Haider has been appointed as returning officer while NHA Deputy Director Hafeezullah and DO Labour Malik Farooq would be assistant returning officer. For union councils No 1 to 8 of DG Khan district, Government Boys High School Taunsa Sharif Headmaster Zulfiqar Ali has been appointed as returning officer while Public Health SDO Shoaib Fayyaz and Water Management Officer Khaliq Zaman would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 9 to 16, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Taunsa Sharif Manager Muhammad Tanveer has been appointed as the returning officer while DDO Social Welfare Department Zakauddin and DDO Water Management Shahid Iqbal would be assistant returning officer. For union councils No 17 to 24, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Zonal Manager Mirza Iqbal would serve as returning officer while Soil Conservation Officer Muhammad Ausaf Azhar and Veterinary Officer Muhammad Faisal would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 25 to 33, EDO Education Muhammad Saleem would be returning officer while DO Roads Waqar Shoaib and Mining Assistant Director Aurangzeb would b assistant returning officer. For union councils No 34 to 42, Statistics Department Deputy Director Shehzad Kashif would be returning officer while Statistics Assistant Director Abdul Razzaq and DDO Education Muhammad Tariq would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 43 to 51, Canal Executive Engineer Khurram Ameen would serve as returning officer while DO Agriculture Malik Attaullah and Government Commerce College Senior Instructor Munawar Hussain would be assistant returning officer. For union councils No 52 to 59, Government Comprehensive High School Principal Malik Irshad has been appointed as returning officer while DO Environment Muhammad Sarfraz and Fisheries Deputy Director Muhammad Arif would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 60 to 67, Public Health Executive Engineer Javed Shakeel has been appointed as returning officer while Public Health SDO Qaisar Shabbir and Community Development officer Saad Ahmed would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 68 to 75, Tevta district manager Shahid Waseem has been appointed as returning officer while Government Vocational and Training Institute DG Khan Principal Naseem Akhtar and DDO Education Amir Aslam would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 76 to 83, Government Higher Secondary School No 1 Principal Syed Mutee Haider has been appointed as returning officer while DO Education Mehar Siraj and DO Forest Muhammad Khalid would be assistant returning officers. For union councils No 84 to 89, Executive Officer Finance and Planning Sarfraz Hussain would serve as returning officer while DDO Water Management Muhammad Tariq and Excise and Taxation Officer Sohail Akhtar would be returning officers. For union councils No 90 to 98, Political Assistant Shahid Mehboob has been appointed as returning officer while Food Department Deputy Director Shabbir Ahmed and DDO Accounts Hafiz Farooq would be assistant returning officers. For wards No 1 to 20 of municipal committee Taunsa Sharif, DDO Education Shahid Saleem has been appointed as returning officer while Tehsil Officer Revenue Tahir Saleem and TMO Muhammad Inayatullah would be assistant returning officer. For municipal committee Kot Chutta, the DO Building has been appointed as returning officer while DO Roads Waqar Ahmed and TMO Ch Tahir would serve as assistant returning officers.
