PPP, MQM getting closer again

KARACHI: A delegation headed by Rizwan Qureshi and Chaudhry Akram, said to be representatives of the Pakistan People’s Party’s main leader, met the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) central leadership at the London Secretariat of the party. Well-placed sources informed ‘The News that the delegation conveyed the message of the PPP central leadership about their full support to the MQM at this crucial stage.
These sources added that the meeting of the main party leadership of both the parties was expected in the coming few days.It is pertinent to mention here that after the decisive actions of NAB and other law enforcing agencies, the main PPP leaders has departed from the country including PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, his son and party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur, Home Minister Sindh Suhail Anwar Sial and former Sindh minister Awais Muzaffar Tappi. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, however, returned to Pakistan on Friday night. Sources further said that Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial departed for Dubai from London through a flight of Emirates Airlines.
