Minister opens PU bridge rehabilitation

LAHORE : Punjab Minister for Housing & Urban Development Mian Mehmoodur-Rasheed inaugurated rehabilitation work of pedestrian bridge New Campus, Canal Road.

Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed, LDA DG Amna Imran and other officials concerned were present. Mehmood said this bridge fell down due to an accident. Masses especially students were facing problems because their campus was at one side of the canal while their hostels were on other side. The completion of the rehabilitation work would provide a relief to the students, he said.
