MULTAN: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said there was no threat to democracy and the government would complete its constitutional tenure.
Addressing a public reception in NA-157, Qureshi said the PTI was moving in the right direction and strictly following its manifesto.
He said the looters had either to return plundered wealth or face jail.
Expressing his grief on the Quetta killings, he said the government had strongly condemned the killings of innocent people and terrorism would be eliminated with commitment.
Qureshi said the past government did not follow the National Action Plan by letter and spirit but for the PTI government the NAP was a top priority and was ready to hold dialogue with opposition and other parties on it.
Qureshi said economic crises were inherited from the past governments, national exchequer was empty and national institutions were on the verge of collapse.
