Margalla festival kicks off
Islamabad : The Metropolitan Corporations Islamabad's annual Margalla Festival began here at Fatima Jinnah Park.
The event will continue for two months.
Various athletic and cultural programmes will be organised all over the city to provide recreational facilities to residents.
Many mega sports and cultural events will be part of the festival, adding
that tent-pegging event would also be held from April 27 to 29 at Fatima Jinnah Park.
More than two hundred teams from across the country will take participate in it.
The Ramazan floodlight inter-club cricket tournament has also been planned in which renowned cricket clubs in the twin cities will participate. Other events will also be held. Contests of traditional games will also be organised during the festival.
