Lahore : A musical performance titled “Aman ka Nishaan - Hmara Pakistan (peace symbol-our Pakistan): Ajj ki Shaam – Saaz-e-Aman k Naam” was organised by College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES), Punjab University, under the aegis of Center for Health and Gender Equality.
Noted singer Khalil Haider engaged the students with his melodious voice by singing various national songs to spread the message of national unity, harmony and peace. The aim of the performance was to promote peace through different cultural music performances and linking youths with their cultural roots, according to a press release issued on Saturday.
The event was also attended by PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Prof. Dr Sajid Rahid Ahmad, CEES Principal along with deans and head of departments, faculty members and students.
