Court stops proceedings against Vawda after his apology
RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge (ASJ), Rawalpindi Muhammad Aslam Gondal Thursday has directed to stop further proceeding on an application filed by Hafiz Ihtesham, Chairman Defence of Pakistan, against PTI Federal Minister Faisal Vawda.
The court has stopped further proceeding when applicant withdrew his application against federal minister in this regard. The applicant has filed an application in court that federal minister used blasphemy words in a TV talk show. The applicant requested the court to order to register FIR against PTI minister. But, the applicant withdrew his application because Faisal Vawda apologised his words in TV talk show. He also apologised in his tweet as well. The court has directed to stop further proceeding on the application.
