ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly (MNA) Dr Ramesh Kumar said that he gave the message of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The PTI leader reportedly had a one-on-one meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj while he was in India for Kumbh festival. Dr Ramesh Kumar assured that Pakistan will get a positive message from India now.
Speaking at a local TV channel about his visit to India, the PTI MNA said that Indian foreign secretary welcomed him as he reached New Delhi for Kumbh festival. He said that he reached the festival with former Indian army chief VK Singh on a chartered plane. He said that his meeting with Modi was positive while he also met Sushma Swaraj who also gave him a warm welcome. Dr Ramesh Kumar assured the Indian foreign minister that he had a bath in Ganga and could claim that Pakistan is not involved in Pulwama attack.
Earlier while speaking in India, Dr Ramesh Kumar said that he had brought a message of peace and believed that both the countries should live peacefully. Both the countries should develop strong friendship, he said. Dr Ramesh Kumar was elected on reserved seats for minorities on the PTI ticket in the 2018 general elections.
