NAWABSHAH: The Qazi Ahmed Police acting on a tip-off intercepted a car coming from Nawabshah and recovered drugs and weapons from the custody of a policeman and his companion.
The police spotted the suspected car without a number plate and signaled it to stop but the driver sped away. However, the police managed to stop the car after a chase. The police recovered 20 kg Charas and a large quantity of Gutka from the car.
The police arrested police constable Afzal Arain who is posted in Nawabshah and co -accused Zulfiqar Khaskheli. According to Qazi Ahmed Police, both the alleged accused have been booked in an FIR and investigations have been started.
