Consultant named for Science Journalism Society
PESHAWAR: The Science Journalism Society of Pakistan (SJSP) has named Dr Fahad Khan Afridi, Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Peshawar as ‘Strategic Consultant.’
According to a press release, he would serve for a period of five years. The SJSP administration would consult him on strategic planning and management. Dr Fahad Khan Afridi has been associated with teaching and research for the last 10 years. Before joining the CECOS University of I.T. and Emerging Sciences, Peshawar, he worked with the Department of Management Sciences at the Islamia College University, Peshawar.
He is a Higher Education Commission-approved supervisor (Adviser Doctoral Studies) and has experience in policy-making, strategic planning and management. The consultant obtained the degree of MA (Economics) from the University of Peshawar and MBA from the Qurtuba University, Peshawar. He completed doctoral studies in management sciences from the Abasyn University, Peshawar.
