Rangers claim solving murder case in Bin Qasim Town
The Sindh Rangers on Friday claimed to have solved a blind murder case that occurred in the Bin Qasim Town area. A spokesperson for the Rangers said the body of a man, who was later identified as Siddiq Ali, was found on Wednesday from Moosani Mohallah, Rehri Goth in Bin Qasim Town.
A special investigation team of the paramilitary force was formed to investigate the case, which carried out a raid in Rehri Goth, arrested a suspect, Mohsin Mustafa, and shifted him to the Rangers headquarters.
During investigations, the suspect disclosed that on the night between February 12 and 13, he along with the deceased attended a marriage ceremony held in their residential area and consumed alcohol during the festivities.
According to the Rangers, the suspect explained that it was around 2:30 am when he and the Ali left for their residence in Rehri Goth. While they were returning, they engaged in an argument over some personal matter and started scolding each other while being drunk. It was there when Mustafa strangled Ali to death in a rage and fled the scene after throwing the body in bushes. The suspect was later handed over to the local police. Further investigations are under way.
