Mega draw of Rawal Shopping Festival held at Ayub Park
Car, Umrah ticket, motorcycles and many other prizes awarded to winners

The Mega lucky Draw of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI)’s Rawal Shopping Festival was held on late Sunday night at the Ayub National Park in which mega prize of a Car, Ummrah ticket, motorcycles, bedroom refrigerators, washing machines, mobile phones, tablets, DvD Players, LCDs, bicycles for children and many other precious prizes were distributed through among the winners.
Along with guests, Senator Najama Hameed, Commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed, DCO Sajid Zafar Dal, Director General Heritage Foundation Brigadier (r) Zaman Nasarullah Khan Niazi, MNA Malik Ibrar, former presidents Sohail Altaf, Najam Rehan, Manzar Khurshid Sheikh, Dr. Shimail Daud Arain and a larger number of gathering were attended the mage lucky draw ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion RCCI President Syed Asad Mashadi said that lucky draw was supposed to be held on May 17 but due to rainy weather it was postponed till May 24. He said that on positive response from the public, the chamber has decided to organise such events on annual basis.
He felicitate the owner of (Coupon no. 26968) Shahid Usman Ghani on winning of a 800cc car in the draw saying such prizes will be enhanced in numbers in future to get maximum participation of the public in RSF 2016.
Mashadi said that Rawal Shopping Festival was the first event of its kind not only in the region but in the country as well. “Our prime goal was to enhance business activities in the region, which was badly hampered due to the mega project of Metro Bus Project, he said. He added that due to construction work of Metro Bus Project customers declined in a large number to visit Rawalpindi markets; to bring them into business centres lucrative discounts and mega prizes through lucky draws were announced and markets of Rawalpindi witnessed a surprise surge in business activities.
He thanked all leaders of trade associations, Punjab Government, Commissioner Rawalpindi, CEO Cantonment, Fahim Zafar, media and traders to make this event a great success.
