Over 40 Sheesha smokers held in Lahore

LAHORE: The district administration arrested over 40 persons involved in smoking Sheesha including owners of three Sheesha cafes during the last three days.
DCO Lahore Captain Muhammad Usman had already issued instructions to all the town administrators for a massive crackdown in this regard.
In the first crackdown on Jamira Cafe located at MM Alam road, Assistant Commissioner Model Town along with the staff and a police contingent raided the said café. As a result, 18 persons involved in Sheesha smoking were arrested and an FIR had been lodged against them at the police station concerned.
Likewise, Administrator Samanabad Town Asfand Yar Baloch along with the town staff and police personnel raided the Pincel Town Café on a tip-off and got arrested 14 boys involved in Sheesha Smoking and eight Huqqas along with different Sheesha flavours were also confiscated and the said Sheesha Café was sealed.
