Rawalpindi: The martyrs of Peshawar and Pak Army were paid tremendous tribute at a ceremony organised by Rawalpindi Arts Council here on Saturday. The students of Leadership College presented skits to highlight the importance of peace and education. The students recited poetry about effects of terrorism in society and prayed for the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Addressing at the occasion, chief guest Irshad Ahmed Khan said that our army is defender of the boundaries. Whenever, the country need for help especially for IDPs held and rehabilitation, help for effectees of earthquake and floods or other emergency, Pakistan Amy remained in front position, he added. Other speakers termed 16th December 2014 as ‘Black Day’.
