Rawalpindi: A 13-member of Chinese Railways delegation headed by Lu Dongfu, Vice Minister, Ministry of Transport/Administrator National Railways Administration, China, arrived on a 5-day visit in Islamabad on Saturday.Ministry of Railways Secretary Parveen Agha received the delegation. Rawalpindi: A 13-member of Chinese Railways delegation headed by Lu Dongfu, Vice Minister, Ministry of Transport/Administrator National Railways Administration, China, arrived on a 5-day visit in Islamabad on Saturday.
Ministry of Railways Secretary Parveen Agha received the delegation. The delegation will also visit Lahore, Havelian and Buldher.
Later, the delegation visited Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad, where the delegation was briefed by General Manager Asad Ahsan about the function of the factory. Delegation was informed that state of the art machinery has been installed in the factory for manufacturing of new coaches and overhauling of old.
Lu Dongfu praised the quality of work during visit of different shops of the factory. He further said that cooperation in the field of Railways would be beneficial for both the countries.
