The Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo has announced a reward of Rs2 million for anyone who could share useful information about the attacks on Preedy SHO and American citizen Deborah Lobo, who were killed and injured, respectively, in separate incidents on Thursday.
According to the spokesman of city police, a high-level meeting was held on Friday to discuss the progress of ongoing crackdown against criminals in the city and decide its future course.
The agenda on the meeting were the attacks on Preedy SHO Ejaz Khawaja and Deborah Lobo and it was decided that a reward of Rs2 million should be recommended for anyone who could help the police reach the culprits.
Thebo asked all the SSPs to increase coordination among themselves and be on the same page while dealing with criminals. It was said that the next three months were very critical for the city police and the investigators must make sure to prepare airtight cases for prosecution. He praised the work of DIG East because in all the cases of heinous criminals from the police zone, no suspects had been released on bail or want of proof.
