The Government Boys Elementary School, Gakhar in Fateh Jang tehsil was built in 1921 and upgraded to the secondary level in 2006. However, there is insufficient space for students to study.
There are only three rooms for 300 students enrolled in the school. Because of this they are forced to study in the open. The authorities concerned are requested to upgrade the school building so that it can cater to the needs of its students.
