Mother, daughter killed for ‘honour’

MARDAN: A woman and her daughter were shot dead for having alleged illicit relations in the limits of Toru Police Station, police said.
Reporting the incident to the police, one Inamullah, a resident of Daftaro village, said he was working in the fields when his 7-year old son Ali informed him that his relatives Murshid and Ijaz allegedly killed his wife and daughter.
He alleged that his relatives suspected that his daughter didn’t bear “good moral character.” The police registered a case and started investigation.
