Cricket accountability

Pakistan ended their World Cup cricket journey with a humiliating defeat against Australia. Even reaching the quarter finals was no less than a miracle given our dismal performance in every department of the game. Now the PCB should take responsibility and present itself for accountability.
We spend millions on the perks and privileges of the board members, coaches and players but what do they give us in return? The PM is requested to order a thorough inquiry into our cricket debacle. It should be ensured that in future players are selected on merit alone. In addition, the government should also promote hockey, kabaddi, boxing, football, squash and athletics in which we have a lot of potential as well. Moreover, these games require less investment as compared to cricket.
