Sumera Malik de-notified as chairperson district council

KHUSHAB: The ECP Friday de-notified Sumaira Malik and Malik Masood Nazir Awan, chairperson and vice chairman of District Council Khushab respectively and also announced re-election on the seats on June 8. An ECP notification has also been issued in this regard re-calling the previous notifications. The Supreme Court on May 8, 2018 had nullified the elections of district council in Khushab and ordered for new elections. A petition was filed by Ameer Haider Sangha for disqualification of chairman and vice chairman of the district council.
