Poultry exhibition in July
KARACHI: Pakistan Poultry, Dairy and Livestock Exhibition will be held from July 20 to 22 in Karachi with the support of all stakeholders, including public and private sectors.
In this regard, a joint press conference was held at a local hotel on Wednesday evening, consisting of Sindh Board of Investment, dairy and poultry associations and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda). The expo is being organised by Landmark Communications.
Around six countries, including The Netherlands, US, Malaysia, Qatar and Australia had confirmed their participation, while more than 200 companies will showcase their products and consultancies, organisers of the event said.
Addressing the press conference, Ambassador of Kingdom of The Netherlands Ardi Stois-Braken announced that Dutch companies, having their expertise in dairy, poultry and agriculture, would participate in the exhibition. “Dutch companies do business in a socially responsible way,” she added.
